The Waterloo Region Record spoke to The Essentials Fund Co-Founder Jane Arnold about the start of our 2023 campaign.

“A local granting program that provides unrestricted funds for charities and non-profits in Waterloo Region is looking for donations to help organizations for a second year.

The Essentials Fund helps fill a gap for organizations that typically receive funding for specific purposes. That often leaves organizations appealing to the community for help when they need to provide their clients with the basics such as hygiene products or bus passes.”
